Between 1680 and 1695, Henry Purcell composed a series of Welcome Songs and Odes for the celebration of royal occasions. This programme, showcasing the variety and diversity of Purcell, a composer who only just made it into his 30s, will feature a small consort of singers and instrumentalists.
