Get involved to have fun learning, making music, and exploring your creativity with The Sixteen.

Whether you are at the start of your musical journey or have been singing for your entire life, we invite you to work with musicians from The Sixteen in relaxed and welcoming environments, from attending our concerts, to bringing your grandchildren to an early years workshop to taking part in one of our Choral Workshops.

Our education and community programme is an important part of life at The Sixteen. We aim to showcase the overwhelming power of the collective human voice, and provide inspiring and encouraging musical experiences to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, both to those who know and love us, and to those who have not necessarily had much contact with choral music and singers before.

With support from The Genesis Foundation we also provide training and nurturing to emerging young choral singers, conductors, and composers through our Genesis Sixteen programme.

Your donations in action

In 2016 we collaborated with Streetwise Opera, a wonderful charity that helps people who have experienced homelessness move on with their lives.

Donate and Support The Sixteen

As a small arts organisation, The Sixteen is reliant on the generosity of our supporters in order to carry out our ambitious programme of work each year and fulfill our mission of bringing choral music to the widest and most diverse audience possible.
