Our Tewkesbury choral workshop is led by The Sixteen’s associate conductor Eamonn Dougan and singer and practical scholar Sally Dunkley. Local singing enthusiasts are treated to a session of vocal coaching including advice on breathing technique, invigorating warm-ups, voice production and insights into the historical context of the Choral Pilgrimage music.
The pieces that will be worked on this year are as follows:
James MacMillan When you see millions of mouthless dead
Sheppard ‘Agnus Dei’ from Cantate Mass
We will send the music and a letter confirming the workshop details one month in advance.
Workshops are limited to 75 places and refunds can only be offered if the place is resold. We operate a waiting list system so please do contact us if places are currently sold out.
Please contact Isabel if you have any questions or problems relating to your workshop booking, either by email on email@example.com or by phone on 020 7936 3420.
Get £5 off when you purchase a Choral Workshop ticket and a ticket to the Choral Pilgrimage concert in Tewkesbury Abbey on 7 September 2019 in the same transaction. This offer will be flagged to you during the booking process.
