The Sixteen’s annual Sounds Sublime festival of choral music will start with a performance by award-winning performing arts charity Streetwise Opera, responding to Eric Whitacre’s epic Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine. Supported by Genesis Sixteen alumni, this is the culmination of a series of workshops between the Sixteen’s education department and Streetwise Opera. The second half of the concert will feature this year’s Genesis Sixteen cohort in what will be their final performance together after a year-long programme of training and professional development.
Programme to be confirmed
This performance will be followed by free pop-up performances at the British Museum, a Come & Sing workshop with our associate conductor Eamonn Dougan, and an evening concert by Fieri and Recordare. For more information and the full festival line-up click here.
