MacMillan Stabat Mater: Edinburgh

23 March 2017 7.30pm Queen's Hall £11 - £32.50(Booking Fees Apply)

Few living composers communicate with the emotional directness of James MacMillan, so the first performances of his Stabat Mater are a major occasion. Harry Christophers directs The Sixteen and Scottish Chamber Orchestra placing this work alongside his Tryst, a showpiece inspired on his folksong of the same name.
