Pop-up Performances

One of the highlights of our Sounds Sublime festival are the free pop-up performances. Let festival favourites the London International Gospel Choir, along with a selection of exciting young ensembles, surprise and inspire you among the artefacts of the British Museum.

Some of the choirs you can expect to hear:

London International Gospel Choir
LIGC evolved from the award-winning London Youth Gospel Choir and has become a strong social network – ideal for those who want to sing and make new friends. Singing a mix of secular and spiritual music in a gospel style, rich in harmony and full of movement and expression, their repertoire features music by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Whitney Houston.

Horizon Voices
Horizon Voices is a London-based professional vocal ensemble seeking to broaden musical horizons through a programme of education workshops, outreach projects and performances.

Oread Chamber Choir
Oread is a newly formed professional chamber choir based in London, directed by Will Wright and Will Brockman.
