Sounds Sublime: Something Old, Something New

20 July 2019 7.30pm St Clement Danes Church The Strand Tickets: £15(Booking Fees Apply)

This concert is the culmination of this year’s Sounds Sublime Festival and features two of London’s most exciting young ensembles.

Fieri Consort was founded in 2012 after meeting at the inaugural Genesis Sixteen course. Performing without a conductor, they present innovative and engaging programmes, specialising in the rich and varied tradition of 16th and 17th century Italian repertoire. Performing a cappella, accompanied by early instruments, with guests and even, memorably, with members of their audiences, Fieri’s interpretations are always ingenious and informed by the collective experience and knowledge of the group. They will be joined by Recordare Chamber Choir, founded in 2018 having met at the most recent Genesis Sixteen course. “Something Old, Something New” celebrates the collaboration over the years of Genesis Sixteen alumni.
