Please note that although this concert is sold out online, there will be a limited number of tickets available on the door.
It is with regret that due to unforeseen circumstances, Harry Christophers is no longer able to conduct this performance. We offer our apologies for this unavoidable situation and for any disappointment it may cause. However, we are delighted that The Sixteen’s Associate Conductor Eamonn Dougan is available to step in and take the baton for this concert.
The Sixteen’s most popular programme of all time returns for a mini UK tour and focuses on three composers’ unique devotion to the church. A new version of Allegri’s renowned Miserere is paired with James MacMillan’s own setting of the text and pieces by ‘The Prince of Polyphony’ Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina.
