The Call of Rome Films
To accompany our recent ‘Call of Rome’ Choral Pilgrimage programme, we have produced two films; an ‘as live’ performance of our concert at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral filmed earlier in the year, and a film exploring some of the music in this year’s programme in more depth.
Our resolve to make these films available to as wide an audience as possible and free for all remains undiminished. Behind the scenes, there are costs involved and for those who wish to make a donation to support these films, we remain forever indebted. A simple link here leads you to help bolster the filming coffers and join us in celebration of the return of The Choral Pilgrimage. Donate

The Call of Rome: A Film to Accompany the Choral Pilgrimage
Designed to be watched as an accompaniment to The Choral Pilgrimage 2021 or enjoyed in its own right, this 45 minute film takes an in-depth look at three of the pieces in this year’s Choral Pilgrimage programme. Complete with full length performances as well as musical excerpts and explanation, Harry Christophers and The Sixteen set the historical and cultural context of the works.
