Amanda joined The Sixteen, on a part-time basis, in April 2018 after reading music at The University of Edinburgh and having worked on a freelance basis for a number of years in Scotland with organisations such as the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Ludus Baroque and the National Youth Choir of Scotland. With a keen interest in music education and festival management, alongside her work at The Sixteen, Amanda is Festival Manager of St Andrews Voices, Scotland’s only festival dedicated to the voice, and a freelance Animateur.
When Amanda isn’t travelling up and down the country; she enjoys long walks in the countryside and exploring new countries; be it for work or travel – next stop Palestine to undertake some music education work and then a return to West Africa for a community music project!
