Andrew McCullough is a violinist and aspiring composer who is building a career in the world of arts administration. He read music at the University of Bristol, and stayed on after his undergraduate for the MA Composition pathway, under the tutelages of John Pickard, Michael Ellison, and Arthur Keegan-Boyle. During his studies he conducted the Bristol University Music Society’s (BUMS) String Ensemble and Galenicals Medic’s Orchestra where he first got a taste for organising concerts. He was also the president of the Composition Society for two years, and played in the Chamber Orchestra. Since then, he has completed an internship at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in the Performance Operations department, and is currently holding the role of Concerts and Box Office Coordinator at The Sixteen.
