When and where was your first experience of music / singing?

All through my life I have sung with my musical family, and my first experience was probably with my sister in the lounge growing up when we used to harmonize with each-other with every song possible. We did really like Taylor Swift.

Where did you grow up? Did you have access to classical music?

I grew up in Berkshire and then Hampshire. I was fortunate enough to go a school where the head of music was passionate and inspiring. In secondary school and sixth form, I studied classical music, in singing, trumpet and piano!

What has been your most memorable performance so far?

I have a lot of memorable performances, one of the most memorable singing Seuftzer Tranen in Salamanca cathedral with the Berkshire Youth Choir! What an incredible venue.

What would your dream performance be?

My dream performance would to be the fairy in Cendrillon and to one day be the Queen of the Night!

What are you looking forward to with Genesis Sixteen?

I can’t wait to meet new people, sing amazing choral works and learn new repertoire. I have always adored being in a choir and creating different sounds with different people, its so special. I take every opportunity to sing with choirs/chambers groups.

Outside of singing, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to go to the gym – I love a good spin class with my friends. I also love hockey and tennis. I like to go on a walk every day as I’m lucky enough to live round the corner from Bute Park in Cardiff.

Are you still in education? Are you in any other young artists schemes?

I have just finished my undergraduate degree at RWCMD and in September I will start my Masters degree!

Outside of performances with Genesis Sixteen, have you got any concerts coming up?

I have sung with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain so have been doing concerts with them this August.
