Where did you grow up?
I am from Northern Ireland.
What has been your most memorable performance so far?
The most memorable performances that I have been a part of were singing at Wigmore Hall in February and my final recital at Leeds Conservatoire in May. The most memorable performance that I have been to was the Sommernachtskonzert (Summer Night Concert) in the grounds of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna in 2019. There were 100,000 attendees there to watch the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and pianist Yuja Wang. It was one of the most incredible nights!
What would your dream performance be?
Too many to count! Singing at the Royal Albert Hall in London is definitely on my ‘in-my-wildest- dreams’ bucket list though because it’s just so iconic.
What are you looking forward to with Genesis Sixteen?
Now that I have finished my degree I am really grateful for the opportunity to still get to learn and sing with others. I am excited to see different places in the UK and study new repertoire.
Outside of singing, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I really enjoy different forms of journalism and was a presenter and producer on Leeds Student Radio’s ‘Hometime’ Show 2022/23.
I also like to travel. The last place that I explored was Munich at Christmas with a friend. It was like something out of a fairy-tale!
Are you still in education?
I have just graduated from Leeds Conservatoire.
