What & where was your debut gig with The Sixteen?
The Sixteen’s first Messiah; St John’s Smith Square, in 1986.
What’s been a memorable Sixteen gig & why?
Touring around Spain in 1996, playing the St. Matthew Passion when the Dunblane massacre took place (if my memory serves me right).
What’s your favourite Sixteen recording?
Can’t choose, I like too many.

What are your hobbies and interests?
Gardening, dancing and singing!
What else do you do (professionally) when not playing with The Sixteen?
I am a regular member of the Gabrieli Consort and the English Concert and also work for most of the period instrument orchestras in the UK. I’m a member of the Arbutus String Quartet. I also play modern viola and teach violin and viola.
What football team do you support?
I know it’s criminal as a member of the Sixteen – but I don’t!
