When and where was your first experience of music / singing?

My first experience of singing was at primary school where I was part of the school choir and realised I had a flare for the dramatics where I played Admiral Horatio Hornhonker in Pirates of the Currybean!

Where did you grow up? Did you have access to classical music?

I grew up in Redhill, Surrey and my parents are also musicians so classical music was very important at home! I was also very lucky to have had music lessons from the Surrey Arts programme set up for young musicians which introduced me further to classical music.

What has been your most memorable performance so far?

My most memorable performance so far would be singing as part of choral evensong at Arundel Cathedral which was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 in 2025.

What would your dream performance be?

My dream performance would be having the opportunity to sing solo at the Royal Albert Hall in Handel’s Messiah or Mendelssohn’s Elijah – my favourite oratorios!

What are you looking forward to with Genesis Sixteen?

I am most looking forward to singing with, getting to know and being inspired by incredible like-minded young musicians. It is a great opportunity to expand my musical knowledge and develop my voice all while having tuition from very accomplished professionals.

Outside of singing, what do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like going to the theatre, watching movies at the cinema and going for long country walks.

Are you still in education? Are you in any other young artists schemes?

I graduated summer 2025 in BSc Psychology at Chichester University and was very fortunate to have been a part of the university’s chamber choir, where I got the opportunity to sing at Arundel Cathedral which then led on to me obtaining a choral scholarship there. I am extremely grateful to both the university and Arundel Cathedral for the fantastic opportunities they have given me thus far.

Outside of performances with Genesis Sixteen, have you got any concerts coming up?

At the time of writing, June 2026, I am going on tour around Kent with the University of Chichester’s chamber choir.
