Where did you grow up? Did you have access to classical music?
I grew up in Camden and was fortunate to be a chorister at Westminster Cathedral where I received my primary education.
What has been your most memorable performance so far?
I’ve had many memorable performances over the years. The one that really sticks out is singing the late Colin Mawby’s Ave Verum Corpus with Westminster Cathedral Choir in the Sistine Chapel, televised and conducted by the former Master of Music himself. That has been my favourite choral piece ever since.
What are you looking forward to with Genesis Sixteen?
I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded individuals, learning as much as I can, and making music!
Are you still in education? Are you in any other young artists schemes?
I graduated in Summer 2024 with a BSc in Sociology from the LSE. I am also a young artist with The Constellation Choir and Vox Urbane.
Outside of performances with Genesis Sixteen, have you got any concerts coming up?
I’m looking forward to working with the BBC Singers in 2026 as part of Vox Urbane’s young artists’ scheme, Vox Next Gen.
