Caroline studied Music at the University of Glasgow before completing postgraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has over fifteen years’ experience producing music education, community engagement and large-scale performance projects, and enjoys developing partnerships and delivering ambitious programmes from concept to performance.

Before joining The Sixteen, Caroline developed and delivered learning and participation programmes for a number of leading arts organisations. At the Royal Ballet and Opera, she managed projects including Create & Sing and Sing, Dance, Leap for Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. She has also worked with English National Opera on the ENO Breathe programme and managed Blackheath Halls Youth Choir. Earlier in her career, she worked as Personal Assistant to conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen at the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Passionate about making music accessible to everyone, Caroline has also worked internationally with disability arts charity Epic Arts in London and Cambodia, and continues to champion inclusive approaches to participation. Alongside her producing work, Caroline is a singer and singing teacher, and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy and connection that singing can bring.
