Join eight Sixteen singers and conductor Eamonn Dougan for a relaxed 45-minute performance of beautiful seasonal music.

From the ethereal beauty of Thomas Tallis’s O nata lux to the luminous harmonies of James MacMillan’s O radiant dawn, this programme traces a journey from quiet anticipation to the wonder of the Nativity.

Featuring music by composers including Victoria, Howells and Lucy Walker, the programme moves between moments of intimate reflection, rich polyphony and luminous contemporary writing. Each piece offers a fresh perspective on the Christmas story, inviting listeners to pause, reflect and immerse themselves in the beauty of the season.

These 45 minute concerts are designed to be even more accessible to everyone. Don’t worry if your kids are prone to sing along and no need to think you need to sit bolt upright throughout — you’re free to wander in and out as the mood takes you.

We are running a Christmas Choral Tots workshop for 0-5 year olds from 10am – 10.45am, prior to this concert. To book tickets and find out more click here.
